Certification Program Details

The Bench Technician certification consists of a 100-question exam designed for the experienced Traffic Signal Bench Technician. Topics covered in the exam include: The role of today’s bench technician, test equipment, NEMA TS1 and TS2, 170, 2070 and ATC/ITS controllers and cabinets, as well as standard and optional equipment and components. The Microprocessors in Traffic Signals is a requirement of this certification, the electronics requirement for this certification is included in the exam. A review program is not offered for this certification.

• Microprocessors In Traffic Signals Technician Certification 
• Five Years Experience as a Traffic Signal Bench Technician
